Our prices depend on how much work will be required to complete assessment and produce any reports.
The categories based on the house size and other definitions of work type are explained below.

Small
Single storey house, 1-2 bedrooms, max 100sqm
Medium
Up to 4 bedrooms, max 200 sqm
Large
Over 200 sqm or 5 or more bedrooms. As there is no limits to the size, large project prices are indicative only and need to be confirmed before booking the assessment
Full Assessment/Rating
NatHERS: the assessment of the house as drawn on building plans for building permit approval or as originally supplied for design stage scenarios. Scorecard & other reports: the assessment of the house as is (as found during original inspection)
Short Rating
In NatHERS, apartments and multi unit residential developments often have identical or mirrored floor plans and use the same building materials. The work involved in second and subsequent rating is considerably less and our prices reflect this.
Remote Assessment
If your location is remote and involves excessive travel we can do a remote assessment. We can communicate by email and skype or other meeting software and provide you with instructions to collect all evidence necessary to complete the assessment. Because we save on travel and inspection time, the cost of a remote assessment is lower.
Variations
Changes to the base assessment to compare different scenarios or upgrade options. Can be used in NatHERS assessments on design stage to identify most cost effective option to achieve required start rating. In Scorecard, variations can be used to identify most effective upgrade path. Variations can be small or complex. Complex variations when changes are made to the zones (rooms) ie changing in size, adding or removing rooms may require additional fee.
Zone
A room in the house or part of the room with significant difference to the rest to treat it as separate area. Room, area and zone are equivalent names in terms of the assessment.
